Cyclone ‘Hinnamnar’ is centered in the East Asian country of South Korea. It was the most powerful cyclone the country had ever seen. In this case, it crossed the coast between Jeju Island, a tourist destination with luxury hotels, and the port city of Busan yesterday.

At that time, a strong wind blew at a speed of 133 kmph. The typhoon then moved towards the Korean Peninsula-Japan Sea. It is expected to hit eastern China in the coming weeks. As the typhoon made landfall, South Korea was lashed by heavy rain.

“This is the most powerful typhoon South Korea has ever seen,” Prime Minister Han Taksoo said, and ordered relief and rescue operations to be accelerated. Three people, including a 70-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, died in the cyclone.
