UAE Exam Cheating Laws: Punishable by Fine and Prison Time

Dubai: Cheating in exams in the UAE is punishable by a fine of two lakh dirhams and six months in prison.

This is related to federal laws passed last year. UAE Actions will be taken in accordance with the code of conduct of the Ministry of Education, educational authorities in each emirate and educational institutions.

The law applies to both government and private institutions, including schools, universities and colleges.
