The Frenchman logically lost to the Dane in two sets (6-4, 6-2) in the second round of the Basel tournament.

Holger Rune easily won against Frenchman Ugo Humbert 6-4, 6-2, in the second round of the ATP 500 tournament in Basel on Thursday, offering himself a place in the quarter-finals.

The 19-year-old Dane, in good shape after his title in Stockholm on Sunday against Stefanos Tsitsipas, made short work of the Frenchman ranked 103rd at ATP.

Holger Rune (25th in the world) took control from the start of the game, breaking in the first set (5-4) and then winning a shutout 6-4.
