Polish President Andrzej Duda today called on Austria to provide more non-military aid to Ukraine after meeting with his Austrian counterpart Alexander Van der Bellenwhich has been fighting against Russian invasion forces for more than a year.
According to news agencies, Duda said that Poland respects Austria’s neutrality, but he would be happy if the country could provide Ukraine with even more non-military aid, such as bulletproof vests or gas masks, as they could save more lives. Duda reminded that the value of the aid, including the military aid that Warsaw gave to Kyiv, is worth three billion euros (about 70 billion crowns).
