Kyiv: The Ukrainian Air Force shot down a Russian warplane that flew over Kakovo, Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense announced on Twitter that the Su-35 jet was shot down by the forces.
Footage of a Russian plane crashing after being shot down has emerged. The shot down plane hit the ground and exploded with a loud noise. According to a video note shared by the ministry on Reddit, the pilot jumped out before the plane hit the ground.
The explanation given by the Air Force is that the Russian plane was shot down when it was targeting Ukrainian soldiers. The Ukrainian Air Force Command stated that the anti-aircraft missile unit of the Ukrainian army shot down five Russian drones in 24 hours.
