Thyasur: A car overturned at the check dam at Ezhunnallat, Thiruvilvamala. Fishermen rescued the passenger, Johnny, a native of Kondazhi, from the car that overturned into the river. The cause of the accident was the sudden rise of water in the check dam. Johnny is a private bank officer. The accident took place above the check dam connecting Thiruvilwamala-Kondazhi panchayats.

While crossing the river over the dam, the water rose unexpectedly in the river. As the water rose, the car lost its course and fell into the dam. But the vehicles in front of Johnny’s car had crossed the river safely. But an unexpectedly strong flow was experienced.

After this, the vehicle skidded and fell into the river. Soon the fishermen came and rescued Johnny. The car is stuck in the river. The area has been experiencing heavy rain for the past two days. After this, the primary conclusion is that the water in the check dam was released due to the rise in the water level in the nearby dam.
