“Enough material for another book”, Prince Harry (Photo: Shutterstock)
The limited series on Netflix “Harry and Meghan”, as well as Prince Harry’s memoir “Spare”, broke viewership and sales records last month – but did not really damage the image of the British royal house as some had previously feared.
Now, Prince Harry hints that he has more stories against the royal house, ones that would be enough for another book and include things that will be very damaging to his father, King Charles and his brother, Prince William.
In an interview with the British Telegraph at the weekend, Prince Harry said that he did not come to overthrow the monarchy, but to “save them from themselves” and noted that he left out of his current book material that could be enough for another book and could be very harmful to his father and brothers.
Harry referred to Charlotte and Louis, the children of Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton, and estimated that at least one of them would be a ‘Spare’ like him.
At the same time, after Prince Harry’s wave of interviews to promote his new book, in Britain it is estimated that a reconciliation meeting between Prince Harry and the royal family may take place in the coming months.
According to the report in the Sunday Times, senior officials in the royal palace believe that such a meeting can take place even before the inauguration of the new King Charles.
As you may remember, before the Queen’s death, there were attempts to reconcile Prince Harry with his father – through the mediation of Camilla, the wife of King Charles, but they were unsuccessful.
A source in the royal household told author Katie Nicholl that Harry came with good intentions and offered to appoint a mediator to reconcile between him and his father.
Camilla, who was at the same meeting and heard Harry’s proposal to appoint an external mediator for the family conflict, “spit out the tea out of surprise” and thought it was a ridiculous idea – according to the details in the book.
