- Defense ministers and senior military officials from some 50 countries that support Ukraine are gathering on Friday around US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin at a meeting at Ukraine Air Base. Ramstein, Germany. Their discussions will focus on the coordination of aid to Ukraine and in particular on the supply of heavy armor and modern anti-aircraft defense systems.

This new envelope provides for the sending of armored vehicles, but not that of heavy tanks, such as the Abrams, which Washington is not yet ready to provide to kyiv, justifying this refusal by questions of maintenance and training.
