Washington: Former US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that if Vice President Kamala Harris is elected to the White House, China’s leaders will treat her like a child. Former President Trump and his allies have been targeting Harris, calling her “childish and childlike”. Even before this, Trump has made similar verbal attacks on Harris.
In a program with radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump said, “Even if somehow Kamala Harris wins, she will have to deal with Xi Jinping.” On this, when Hewitt asked him, “How will she (Xi) deal with him?” Will you behave?” Trump said, ”Like a child.” Trump said, “He (She) will very soon take all the ‘candy’ from her (Harris). They will have no idea what happened. It would be like a great chess master playing with a novice.”
The former president also has a long history of demeaning women. He also targeted Harris and made several personal attacks on him. He called Harris “lazy.” This term has long been used to demean black people in a racial context. He called Harris a “stupid person” and accused her of being a “drug addict.” He described the Vice President as “retarded” and accused him of having “low intelligence”.
At an event in Las Vegas, Trump compared Harris to a “vulture” over her views on tax increases. Trump’s campaign had no immediate reaction to his comments. Voting is to be held in America next week. The candidate who wins this election will take oath as the new President of America in mid-January.
