Uzbekistan is studying Azerbaijan’s experience in the financial supervision system

Azerbaijan shared its experience in the supervisory system with Uzbekistan.

As Day.Az reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), a delegation of the National Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NBRU) visited the CBA to study the system of supervision of non-bank credit organizations (NBCOs).

During the visit, the NBRU delegation took part in the exchange of information on the following issues: new rules adopted as part of the supervision of NBCOs, business models, development dynamics, protection of the rights of consumers of financial services, combating the laundering of property obtained by crime and the financing of terrorism, and increasing financial inclusion.

It is noted that meetings of the NBRU delegation with the Microfinance Association of Azerbaijan, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Agricultural Credit and Development Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan were also organized.

At the meetings, the principles of NBCOs’ work with these organizations and the process of their financing were discussed in detail.
