Verena Kerth and Marc Terenzi have been officially separated since July. On “Celebrity Big Brother” the presenter now gives intimate insights into the turbulent relationship.

Verena Kerth and Marc Terenzi’s relationship repeatedly made negative headlines. The couple, who had been dating since 2022, are said to have had violent arguments and binge drinking on several occasions. In July, the presenter and the singer made it public that they were going their separate ways from then on. A decision that wasn’t easy for Kerth, as she now reveals on “Celebrity Big Brother”.

With the former DSDS participant Daniel Lopes, she reviews her relationship with Marc Terenzi on the Sat.1 show. She suffered a lot from the alcohol consumption and the escapades, but her feelings were too strong for a separation for a long time. “I thought we could do this together and get through this and sort this out. Otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten engaged. “I thought we were getting married, I’ve finally arrived, great love, we’ve known each other for 20 years, everything is totally romantic, we know each other inside and out,” she describes her emotions at the time. But her ex-partner’s addiction was increasingly out of control advised.

Verena Kerth remembers that in the beginning she often drank and partied with Marc Terenzi. At some point, however, she realized that this wasn’t good for her. After she pulled the ripcord herself, the situation got worse. “When I stopped drinking, the whole secrecy started. I don’t know how much he drank because it was always secret. I found vodka bottles all over the apartment, in the bathroom or in some travel bags that weren’t used or under some printer paper, there were vodka bottles everywhere,” recalls the 43-year-old. She noticed more and more often that the singer was “not clear” from midday onwards.

Verena Kerth lived with Marc Terenzi in this condition for two years. At some point she realized that there had to be a separation. “The only right thing was for me to withdraw because: He always had someone. He could rely on everything: I was a bank, I was a hotel, I was a comforter. He didn’t have to do anything himself, develop any drive, himself “to maneuver out of this situation,” said the TV celebrity.

The end of love actually had an effect: Marc Terenzi went to therapy. A few weeks ago, Verena Kerth explained on t-online that she wished the American all the best “for the difficult path that now lies ahead of him.” “I’m very happy that Marc is finally seeking help. He promised me again and again, but unfortunately he never followed through. The fact that he is now getting the support he absolutely needs is a great relief,” said the Munich resident in mid-August.
