Real Madrid star, Brazilian Vinicius Junior, reacted to a post by his former teammate Toni Kroos, after the crisis of the Brazilian being excluded from winning the 2024 Ballon d’Or award.
Manchester City and Spain star Rodri won the Ballon d’Or for the best football player in the world for the year 2024, while Vinicius came in runner-up.
Real Madrid announced earlier that its delegation refused to travel to attend the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris, claiming that they knew that their team star, Vinicius Junior, would not win the award.
Former Real Madrid star, German Toni Kroos, posted a photo of himself with striker Vinicius on his Instagram account and accompanied it with the comment: “The best,” referring to Vinicius’ eligibility to win the Ballon d’Or.
The Brazilian player responded to Kroos’s post in support of him with the phrase: “I love you, Antonio.”
