“Likes are not always the best way to convey how you feel when you read posts in your feed. We have been asked more than once to make a button with the exact opposite meaning – but there are much more emotions in life. To make it convenient to express them all, we have added different reactions, ”the message says.
Currently, users have access to reactions expressing sympathy, laughter, surprise, delight, sadness, anger and skepticism. “In the near future, one of the new reactions will become available to everyone. And friends and subscribers will help to collect them all: the set will be replenished as they leave different emotions under your posts, ”the company said. The update is launched gradually, so reactions may not appear immediately, added on social networks.
Earlier, VKontakte announced the launch in the summer of 2021 of free group video calls with a maximum number of participants in 2048 people. The company emphasized that there are no duration restrictions in video calls, and you can join the conversation using the link with the invitation without a profile on the social network.
