Nobuyo Oyama, a voice actor and actor known for his voice in the popular anime “Doraemon,” died last month of old age.
He was 90 years old.
Mr. Nobuyo Oyama was born in Tokyo, entered a theater company training school, and made his acting debut in an NHK drama in 1956.
He was also active as a voice actor, playing the role of Boo in the NHK puppet show “Boohoo Woo,” and was the voice of Doraemon for 26 years in the television anime “Doraemon,” which began broadcasting on commercial television in 1979.
