Deputy President and Chairman of the Board of VTB Bank Vadim Kulik at the VTB forum “Russia Calling!” named trends in fintech in the field of AI for the coming years. In his opinion, they will be the development of personal advisors, which are based on recommendation services, hyper-personalization and native interaction with clients.

Personal assistants will become smarter, they will have 3D visual images, and banks will enter into competition by offering more advanced assistants, Mr. Kulik believes. He noted that artificial intelligence “comes into almost every process, taking on the format of an advisor.” “But I don’t want to use an average assistant. I want it to be only my assistant, and for him to be the smartest and predict me. That is, maximum personalization is the second big trend associated with artificial intelligence,” said the deputy chairman of the VTB board. In his opinion, “the movement towards hyper-personalization is where these advisors will compete in the near future.”

Vadim Kulik noted that clients increasingly want to perform transactions using voice or using computer vision technologies. Therefore, in his opinion, the trend will be native interaction with clients.
