Today, Tuesday, the national weightlifting team coach, Ammar Yusser, revealed the latest preparations for weightlifting Ali Ammar to participate in the next Olympic cycle, which will be held in Paris (2024).

Yusser said in a statement to the (INA): “Preparations are underway in full swing in order to reach full readiness before entering the midst of the Olympic tournament,” noting that “the weightlifter, Ali Ammar, is now attending a training camp in Thailand before participating in the qualifying tournament.” Which will be held there on the first of next April.”
He added, “The athlete has officially become one of ten weightlifters who qualified for the Olympic tournament in the weight category (+109 kg),” explaining that “the meeting he held with the Secretary General of the Olympic Committee, Haitham Abdel Hamid, regarding the preparation program for the final stage before participating in the Olympics, It was agreed to choose France or Spain to complete the program within the plan set by the Olympic Preparatory Committee to prepare the champions, and it will continue until the start of the Olympics.
