Werder Bremen: Bremen Senate says yes! With 15,000 fans against Ingolstadt – Bundesliga

by time news

Good news before Werder’s home game against Ingolstadt (Sat., 1.30 p.m.)! The Bremen Senate has approved an increase in capacity. Instead of the originally planned 10,000 fans, 15,000 supporters are now allowed into the Weser Stadium.

Bremen’s mayor Andreas Bovenschulte had recently announced easing if other countries were to let more fans into the stadiums at short notice after the prime ministers’ conference. That is the case in Stuttgart.

Werder President Hubertus Hess-Grunewald: “We are very pleased that our application was approved and that this intermediate step will be possible in March with a view to the opening scenarios that have been decided.”

The 2Gplus rule and an FFP2 mask requirement apply to fans. It may only be removed when you are seated or when you bite into the bratwurst.
