So-called non-fungible tokens, or NFT for short, have been experiencing a real high for the last few months. Last month alone, NFTs were sold for the equivalent of almost 1.5 billion euros, and in the past twelve months the largest online marketplaces had sales of more than 8.5 billion euros.
