The company’s senior global PR manager James Patterson has given detailed information about this technology, which has been used in the OnePlus 13 series. It is being claimed that with the help of this new technology, high speed internet can be achieved, which is not present in other smartphones. What is 5.5G?
If we talk in technical terms, then three different network cells will be used in this technology, in which connection can be made to multiple towers simultaneously, which will provide fast connectivity. 5.5G was showcased by OnePlus, according to which the downlink speed on Jio’s non-3CC component carriers was 277.78 Mbps, while the downlink speed on Jio’s 3CC component carriers was 1Gbps. According to Jio’s website, true 5G users can achieve around 1 Gbps speed in India. This service is being implemented on 5G standalone architecture.
This is technology beyond 5G
If we understand in simple words, 5.5G technology is an upgraded version of 5G. It is built on 5G infrastructure. This will improve the network. In this technology, download speed up to 1Gbps and upload speed up to 1 Gbps can be achieved. Also, 5.5G will have the great facility of built-in intelligence. Uplink speed of 1Gbps will be available
5.5G is also called 5G-Advanced. This technology provides better speed, excellent network and AI based connectivity. Commercial rollout of 5G Advanced is being done. 5.5G technology is used by Huawei. The company claims that the network can be increased ten times. It gives a downlink rate of 10 Gbps and an uplink rate of 1 Gbps.
