WhatsApp has improved its tip display

What’s new in WhatsApp: the messenger⁣ now shows⁤ when a conversation‌ partner is ⁣writing a message above‍ the text input field. (Those: WhatsApp)

WhatsApp now shows a different display when users type or record a message. This⁤ is especially helpful in⁢ group chats.

WhatsApp users can now see directly above the text bar in the chat window when the other person is writing a ⁢message. Previously, this facts was ‌only visible under‍ the name wiht the note “writes”.

After‍ an update ⁢to WhatsApp, three moving dots can now be seen when the chat partner composes a new message. In the case of a voice message, the recipient sees a microphone symbol rather⁣ of dots.

The tip display cannot be deactivated and, above all, improves the conversation in ‌group chats. In the future, it will be easier to see who‌ wants to respond instantly because WhatsApp not only displays the ⁣three dots,‍ but also a⁣ smaller version of the profile picture of the person⁤ responding. ⁢The reply itself remains invisible to the recipient ‍until the message is sent.

A few weeks ago, ⁤WhatsApp released an update that already ‍offered ‍several new functions. The most critically important innovation was the⁢ draft function. Since then, this has automatically saved texts that have already been written but not yet ‌sent. This is ⁣to prevent important messages from being forgotten.

The messenger also⁣ clearly marks unsent messages in the ‌chat overview. the affected conversations appear at the top of the list and‌ are marked with a green “Draft” notice.

This means they remain in‌ the users’ field of vision and can be completed and sent later. As soon as the message is sent, the marking⁤ disappears⁢ again.
