Al-Marsad Newspaper: The cardiologist at the Guard Hospital in Riyadh, Haitham Al-Anzi, revealed, “When are “thumps in the chest” evidence of heart problems.”

Al-Enezi said, through an intervention with the “Yahla” program, that chest thumps are the most common complaint to them in the clinic, and most patients associate heart disease with chest pain on the left side, pointing out that the symptoms of angina are different.

Al-Enezi explained that the symptoms of angina pectoris are the feeling of heaviness with shortness of breath, and this heaviness may reach the hands, shoulder and back, and increases with exertion and decreases with rest.

Al-Enezi indicated that there are other diseases that may cause chest pain on the left, and it is better to consult a doctor in case of these symptoms.
