We will have a time change on the last Sunday of October with the clocks going back one hour.
September is passing and like every year such days, this year also the time change is approaching, going to winter.
On the last Sunday of October we switch to winter time for 5 months. So on Sunday, October 27, 2024, we will return to winter time, turning our clocks back an hour.
The time change, ie the summer/winter switch, was established in our country in 1975, two years after the energy crisis of 1973, with the aim of making better use of daylight in the spring months and the summer to save energy. Daylight saving time comes every year on the last Sunday of March and lasts for 7 months.
