Schools will be closed tomorrow in Pallini and in other areas of the country due to the bad weather.
Although decisions are expected from other municipalities and the region of Attica regarding closed schools due to bad weather, for now, as has been known the following schools will remain closed in Pallini: the 2nd Primary School of Pallini, the 1st Gymnasium of Pallini and the 1st High School of Pallini due to a planned power outage.
Schools will also be closed in the municipality of Mantoudi Limni Agia Anna in Evia, due to the bad weather that is expected to bring heavy snowfall to the region. With a decision made, schools of all grades in the municipality of Mantoudi, Lake Agia Anna, will remain closed until Wednesday, January 31 due to the cold temperatures and to avoid accidents when transporting students, teachers, professors, etc.
As far as they are concerned other regions of Evia, depending on the extension of the phenomena, decisions will be made from the morning.
One hour later, classes will begin in the primary and secondary education units of the Municipalities Florina and Amyntaio by decision of mayors due to the low temperatures that prevail in the region for children stations will operate normally.
In Attica, the bad weather is expected to affect mainly the northern suburbs. According to meteorologists, the areas where snowfall is expected are: Dionysos, Ekali, Rodopoli, Drosia, Penteli, Drafi, Thrakomakedones, Krioneri, Anixi and Agios Stefanos.
