The political and cultural event is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Almirante Hurtado Street, between Toesca and Claudio Gay, in Santiago Centro.
Around fifty social organizations signed the call for the commemorative event with which they will remember this Thursday the five years of the social outbreak, which occurred on October 18, 2019.
The activity will take place on Almirante Hurtado Street, between Toesca and Claudio Gay in Santiago Centro, starting at 7 p.m. will be hosted by journalist Alejandra Valle.
“We invite you to join and attend the political-cultural activity which will be held in commemoration of the five years of the social revolt of October 2019″, the call begins.
He then explains that “organizations of victims of repression, human rights, women’s, union, cultural and territorial, we have met with the purpose of generate a space for meeting, memory and tributeto reaffirm our commitment to fight for a society based on social justice and respect for human rights.”
Which artists will participate in the event for the anniversary of the social outbreak
According to what was reported through social networks, they will take part in the event Pancho Villa, Nora Blanco and the Collective Singers who reflect.
Among the organizations calling for the commemoration event for the five years of the social outbreak are the Coordinator of Victims and Families of Ocular Trauma; the Chilean Human Rights Commission; the National Confederation of Municipal Health (Confusam); the National Group of Tax Employees (ANEF); the Association of Academics of the University of Chile (Acauch), and the College of Psychologists of Chile, for example.
