Tissa Kuttiyaratsi, a Member of Parliament for the Sri Lanka People’s Alliance (SLPA), has said that the removal of Susil Premajayantha from the post of Foreign Minister was in line with a report by the State Intelligence Service.
He was speaking to reporters in Colombo yesterday. He continued,
“Former President Maithripala Sirisena’s speech in Matale yesterday regarding the removal of Member of Parliament Susil Premajayantha from the post of Foreign Minister was completely false.
The State Intelligence Service will report to the Head of State on all factors, including national security and the political situation. Susil Premajayantha has been removed from the post of Foreign Minister, according to a report by the State Intelligence Service.
His activities have been fully monitored since the time the budget was submitted. The readiness to form an alternative political alliance has been confirmed.
Sri Lanka Freedom Party leader Maithripala Sirisena is now criticizing the government for creating a new alternative force, as it did in 2015 by eating bread and overthrowing the regime.
The government’s policy plans to lead the Freedom Party to a new political alliance are being systematically weakened. Freedom Party leader Maithripala Sirisena must be held accountable for the party’s downfall.
Due to the merger of the Freedom Party with the People’s Alliance, the people gave the party at least some support. The Liberals align themselves with the positive activities of the government. They place full responsibility on the head of state for adverse actions or consequences. ”
