Al-Marsad Newspaper: A recent scientific study revealed that serious heart attacks occur more often on Monday than any other day of the week.

Analysis of health service records shows that the probability of a heart attack increases by 13% on the first day of the working week. Researchers at the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland analyzed data on about 10,528 patients across the island of Ireland – 7,112 in the Republic of Ireland. The team found a sharp rise in heart attacks containing myocardial infarction at the start of the working week, with the highest rates on Monday, according to The Independent.
