These are the seats where BJP candidates had won.

The alliance is expected to continue
In the 2022 assembly elections, Sisamau, Katehari, Karhal, Milkipur and Kundarki were earlier held by SP, whereas in the last elections, BJP had won Phulpur, Ghaziabad, Majhwan and Khair. Meerapur seat was held by Rashtriya Lok Dal. Regarding seat sharing, Ajay Rai said that a meeting was held once regarding this issue, in which it was also discussed. Rajendra Chaudhary said that we are fully prepared for the by-elections. India alliance will win all 10 seats. Chaudhary claimed that this time BJP will not be able to create any disturbance at the polling stations. He said that we are making our preparations till the booth level and are emphasizing on strengthening our party at this level. Karhal assembly seat has become vacant due to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav being elected MP from Kannauj, while Katehri seat has become vacant due to the election of party’s Lalji Verma to the Lok Sabha from Ambedkar Nagar Lok Sabha seat. This seat has become vacant due to the resignation of SP MLA from Milkipur Awadhesh Prasad after being elected to the Lok Sabha from Ayodhya. At the same time, after being elected for Sambhal Lok Sabha seat, Kundarki assembly seat of Moradabad of SP leader Zia ur Rehman Burke has become vacant.
