After its short success in the Principality (0-1), OL temporarily moved up to 16th place, ASM remained on the podium.
At the end of a match which was dull and padlocked for a long time, Olympique Lyonnais managed to win this Friday on the pitch of AS Monaco (0-1), at the opening of the 16th day of Ligue 1. The two teams neutralized each other for a long time at Louis-II, but Jeffinho managed to make the difference at the very end of the match (85th). With this second success in a row (the 3rd of the season), OL are no longer the bottom of the League, even temporarily moving up to 16th place, tied on points with Toulouse (15th). After two successes in a row, ASM marks the occasion but remains in 3rd place in the ranking.
If the gap in ranking between the two teams is a gulf, it was not felt in the first half. If the Monegasques had control of the ball in their favor, it was the visitors who shook the nets for the first time in the match.
