Monaco beat Red Star 5-1 this Tuesday (22) at Stade Louis II, in Monaco, in the third round of the Champions League group stage.
The game started evenly, with Takumi Minamino opening the scoring for Monaco in the 20th minute. Red Star equalized soon after with a converted penalty by Cherif Ndiaye in the 28th minute.
However, Monaco regained the lead in the first half with Breel Embolo scoring in the 50th minute. In the second leg, the home team increased the score with goals from Wilfried Singo, Takumi Minamino again and Maghnes Akliouche, sealing the win.
