The long and successful course of the annual conference of the Society of Pathology of Northwestern Greece was confirmed by the start of the work in the packed hall of The Lake hotel, this afternoon.
The delegates were welcomed by the chairman of the conference, Director of the 2nd Pathology Clinic of PGNI, professor G. Liamis
The educational nature and presentation of clinical cases of the program covers a wide range of medical specialties and gathers the interest of a significant number of delegates.
The first day of the annual conference of the Society of Pathology of Northwestern Greece, held in collaboration with the A’ & B’ Pathology Clinics of the University General Hospital of Ioannina, began with nephrology and ended with the opening speech, dedicated to the memory of M. Elisaf, with the speaker Professor of Rheumatology Al. Dew and title “Autoimmune skin manifestations after the use of biological therapies”. Work will continue tomorrow Saturday with gastroenterology, cardiology, rheumatology, infectious disease, stroke, oncology and hematology. The conference is particularly aimed at doctors working in the private sector, primary care and regional hospitals.
The monitoring of the tasks is certified with 14 credits of Continuing Medical Education (CME-CPD credits) according to the criteria of the UEMS – EACCME.
