Wilfest-2024 dedicated to Akiz Tableware was held in the capital under the initiative of Women in Leadership. This year’s WILFEST celebrates a decade of Women in Leadership.
The event was organized at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden Hotel in the capital on Saturday (March 9).
Organized under the slogan ‘Women’s Quest for Economic Independence’, this year’s WilFest highlights the multifaceted possibilities of women achieving economic independence. Women from all walks of life will be able to ensure empowerment in various workplaces and in their own lives by achieving economic independence.
The event brought together top professionals from the corporate and development sectors of the country, government officials, academics, artists and activists, eminent thinkers and policy makers to share their experiences, thoughts, perspectives. Nazia Andalib, president of Women in Leadership, outlined the prima agenda.
Prof. Tulsi Jayakumar of Jain Institute of Management and Research, Chairman of Development Studies Department of Dhaka University Prof. Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir presented keynote speech in the session.
