Dhambulla: India lost by 7 wickets in the last match of the Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka. Despite losing the first two matches, India won the series 2-1. Batting first in the third Twenty20 at Dhambulla yesterday, India scored 138 for 5 in 20 overs. In reply, Sri Lanka captain Chamari Adapattu (80 not out off 48 balls) put on 141/3 for the victory in 17 overs.

Renuka Singh returned another opener Vishmi Gunaratne to give the team a score of 6, but Chamari’s captain’s unbeaten stroke play kept Sri Lanka at bay. 14 fours and 1 six flew from Chamari’s bat. Earlier, captain Harman Preet Kaur was India’s top scorer with 39 not out. Harman is the star of the series.
