New Delhi: Ambani has overtaken Adani in the list of the world’s richest people and has topped the list of India’s richest people.
At the start of the year, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani was third on the world’s richest list with a fortune of $133 billion. However, Adani’s shares have been on a downward spiral after the US-based Hindenburg Institute published a report alleging that Adani had been inflating its stock value for decades.
Due to this, the Adani Group is valued at $75.1 billion as per today’s market. Reliance Group’s Mukesh Ambani, worth $83.9 billion, has topped the list of India’s richest people after the Adani Group’s value plunged. Gautam Adhani, who was at the 3rd position, has gradually declined to the 15th position today.
Mukesh Ambani has advanced to the 9th position. Shiv Nadar from Tamil Nadu is the 3rd richest man in India. His company is worth $26.1 billion. He is the 58th richest man in the world.
