The organizing committee for the 2030 World Cup, which will be held jointly in Morocco, Spain and Portugal, revealed the tournament’s logo.
The slogan for the international wedding bears the name “Yalla Vamos,” and the coordinator of the joint file between Europe and Africa for the 2030 World Cup, Antonio Larango, explained that the slogan brings together some common elements between the three countries, namely the sun and sea, which were associated with the thirtieth anniversary of the tournament, as well as the game of football.
For his part, Fawzi Lakjaa, President of the Moroccan Federation, said during the press conference held Tuesday in Lisbon and attended by the heads of the three federations of the organizing countries, “Our goal is one and common, which is to organize the best World Cup ever in the history of football and the International Federation (FIFA).
The President of the Moroccan Federation added, “The tournament’s slogan is (Yalla.. Vamos 2030), which means (Let’s Go) in Arabic and Spanish.”
The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) assigned the organization of the 2030 World Cup to Morocco, Spain and Portugal last October, as they were the only bid to host the tournament.
It is noteworthy that Spain previously hosted the World Cup in 1982, while Morocco or Portugal had never organized the event, either individually or jointly.
