The contemporary art space YARAT held a Night of Museums in Baku, inviting art lovers to explore the topic of communication in various forms, Day.Az reports.

Museum Night 2024, organized with the support of the administration of the Baku Seaside Park-Boulevard, the iTicket platform, Meatadore, United Coffee Beans and ASAN radio, was remembered for its bright and creative events dedicated to the study of communication and interaction.

This year’s event focused on how we express our thoughts, emotions and struggles, continuing last year’s theme of understanding our inner world and accepting our environment.

Several events were presented throughout the night. First, sound therapy from Ilkhama Babayevawhich allowed participants to discover the healing power of sound. This process was complemented by singing bowls, vocal yoga and mantra chanting.

On the second floor of YARAT, the game “Gateway Creator” from Saint Twins Detective immersed participants in an exciting detective adventure in the atmosphere of 1950s America. Another significant event was the performance of the O2 Theater called “5”. This interactive show explored the limitations of social media and emphasized the importance of face-to-face communication.

At the Azerbaijan Painting Museum of the 20th-21st centuries, participants in a master class by a talented artist called “Untold Stories” created works of art, studying emotions from different points of view. On the second floor of the same museum, the audience was captivated by the performance of XITAB, combining electronic music, tar and ghazal, combining traditional and modern art, performed by DEWAR, , and.

Museum Night 2024 ended with live performances by Azerbaijani rap artists Okaber and Neocortex in the open air along Baku Boulevard (next to the Azerbaijan Canoeing and Rowing Federation), which showed how rhythm and lyrics can influence emotional communication. The event was attended by about 2,000 guests, who made the Night of Museums unforgettable.
