Frenchman Zinedine Zidane, the former coach of Real Madrid, confirmed that he would like to work in the Italian League during the coming period.

Zidane remained without work after his second term at Real Madrid, which lasted between 2019-2021, and since then his name has been associated with many European clubs and teams.

Zidane said, while attending the premiere of a documentary about Marcello Lippi, his former coach at Juventus: “As a coach, I learned a lot from Lippi and Carlo Ancelotti.”

He added: “Lippi was the first coach who truly believed in me, and brought me to Juventus, and I became the player I was thanks to him.”

Regarding the possibility of working in the Italian League, he revealed: “Why not? Anything can happen and I would like to coach in Italy one day.”

He concluded, “Currently I am not working in training, but why not work in Italy? I love Italy and I love the fans’ passion for football there.”
