On the other hand, different journalists and political analysts have commented on the decision taken by the current director of Social Security. Within what they mention there is an incident that they consider key to the decision made.

Everything was generated during the night of June 10 at the General Hospital of Zone No. 18 of Playa del Carmen in Quintana Roo. A failure in the hospital elevator caused the death of the 6-year-old girl named Aitana, who was hospitalized.

To date, the incident remains under investigation, although the hospital authorities have accused that the responsibility lies with the company in charge of installing and maintaining the elevators.

For its part, since that moment it has been denounced that the failures in the infrastructure of the Social Security hospitals are constant.
