Abu Dhabi: The number of new covid cases in the UAE has been decreasing slightly for the past few days. According to the official figures released by the Ministry of Health and Defense of the country, 1,398 people have been confirmed to be infected with the Covid-19 virus in the country today.
In the last 24 hours, 1,095 Kovid patients who were under treatment in the country have recovered. In the last 24 hours, one more death due to covid has been reported in the country. New patients in the country were detected from 258,676 newly conducted covid tests.
According to the figures so far, a total of 9,77,578 people have been confirmed to be infected with the Covid-19 virus in the UAE. Of these, 9,57,446 people have already recovered. A total of 2,328 people have died due to covid in the country. Currently there are 17,804 covid patients in the country.
There is no death due to covid in Saudi Arabia till date
Riyadh: No death due to covid was reported in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. There is no death for the second day in a row and it is a great relief. Meanwhile, 602 people were newly diagnosed with the disease. 432 of those under treatment have recovered.
The total number of cases reported in the country so far stands at 805,879. The total number of recoveries rose to 789,192. The total death toll is 9,233. 7,454 patients are currently undergoing treatment. 139 of them are in critical condition. They are staying in intensive care units in hospitals in different parts of the country. 18,697 RT-PCR tests were performed in 24 hours.
