Washington – INA The US Department of Defense (the Pentagon) denied that the US Air Force or international coalition aircraft had launched a strike against Syrian army forces in the Albukamal area in Deir ez-Zor Governorate, eastern Syria. Pentagon spokesman Adrian Rankin-Galloway said in statements followed by the (INA) on Monday, that he said: “At a time when official Syrian media reported that the international coalition carried out an air strike that targeted the Syrian army and left a number of dead and wounded, Washington confirms that This strike is not American or from the international coalition.” The Pentagon’s comment came after the announcement by Syria that a number of Syrian soldiers were killed in an international coalition raid in eastern Syria.
