Matilde Moncada Ramos Pinto, a 38-year-old Portuguese film executive producer, her husband Diego Cardoso de Oliveira, a 40-year-old Brazilian, and one of their children, Joaquin Ramos Pinto de Oliveira, aged around a year and a half, died after being run over while they were at a bus stop in the United States, last Sunday. According to CBS News, the only survivor was a baby, also the couple’s son, aged around two months, who was seriously injured.
Based on sources close to the victims, the channel reports that the family was going to take the bus to the San Francisco Zoo, to celebrate the couple’s wedding anniversary.
The 78-year-old driver was arrested on Monday for homicide while driving, negligent driving, negligent driving with injuries, driving the wrong way and driving above the legal limit.
