/ The Israeli army announced today, Sunday, the killing of 4 soldiers in its ranks, including a commando platoon leader from the “Agoz” unit, in battles in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army spokesman reported that 4 fighters from the commando school were killed during the battles in the Khan Yunis area in southern Gaza on Saturday afternoon.
The fighters are: Captain Ido Baruch, 21 years old from Tel Mond, a commander in the Aguz unit, Sergeant Amitai Ben Shushan, 20 years old from Azriel, a trained fighter in the commando formation, Sergeant Reev Harush, 20 years old from Kibbutz Ramat David, a trained fighter in the commando formation, Young Sergeant Eli, 20 years old, from Kedar, a trained fighter in the commando formation.
With the announcement of the killing of 4 soldiers yesterday, the number of deaths of the Israeli army in the war that has been taking place in the Gaza Strip for 6 months has reached 604, including 41 who were killed as a result of operational accidents, according to the latest data issued by the Israeli army.
