There are currently 1,84,581 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 1,79,531 are under home / institutional quarantine and 5050 are under hospital surveillance. A total of 376 people were newly admitted to the hospital. Of the current 52,710 Kovid cases, only 7.4 per cent are hospitalized / field hospitals.
Today it was confirmed that 57 deaths in the last few days were due to Kovid. In addition, 313 deaths have been reported which have been appealed by the Supreme Court under the new guidelines of the Central Government. This brings the total death toll in the state to 38,045. Today, 17 of those diagnosed with the disease are from outside the state. 4576 people were infected through contact. Contact source for 344 is not clear. Thirty-five health workers were affected. 5978 people who were diagnosed and treated were cured. 52,710 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 50,18,279 have so far been freed from Kovid.
