German health authorities have reported 9,557 new coronavirus infections in the past 24 hours. This was reported by the Robert Koch Institute (Rki), which reported 300 new deaths on the last day. Exactly a week ago, Rki recorded 9,762 new infections and 369 new deaths in one day.
The number of new cases in Germany decreased significantly in January and February, except for an increase in recent days due to the spread of more contagious variants.
