Svetlana Vinogradova, CEO of the Russian car dealer Rolf, announced that the company is considering an IPO in the second half of 2022, Bloomberg reports.

Vinogradova noted that the placement plans were not affected by the ruling of the Khimki court on the recovery of 12.85 billion rubles. from the car dealer “Rolf” and its founder Sergei Petrov. The company is currently contesting this decision.

“Placing our bonds right after the criminal charges showed us how interesting our company is to investors. It became clear that criminal charges against specific individuals have nothing to do with either the company or the way it functions, ”said the CEO of the company.

In June 2019, against Petrov, as well as the former general director of Rolf Tatyana Lukovetskaya, member of the board of directors of the car dealer Anatoly Kairo and director of Panabel Limited Georgy Kafkali, a criminal case was initiated on the withdrawal of 4 billion rubles abroad. According to the investigation, the managers in 2014 illegally transferred 4 billion rubles to Panabel Limited. under the guise of a transaction for the sale and purchase of shares of another company included in the holding’s perimeter – Rolf Estate. Petrov denied all charges.

At the end of last year, Rolf became the largest car dealer in Russia. The company’s brand portfolio includes 20 automotive and one motorcycle brands and owns 59 showrooms. The Rolf Group, through the Cyprus-based Delance Limited, belongs to Calmco Trustees Limited (Cyprus), a trust acting in the interests of the Petrov family. Delance Limited previously announced plans to sell Rolf’s business to one buyer (according to Rolf’s CEO Svetlana Vinogradova, there were about ten partners), but the company abandoned these plans due to the coronavirus pandemic.
