Sector 3’s vice-mayor, Adrian-marian Cocoș, is now at the helm of the district’s city hall while councilor Robert Negoiță is temporarily barred from holding office.
The District 3 City Hall confirmed to reporters that Cocoș has assumed mayoral duties during Negoiță’s 60-day suspension, or untill a court rules or else.

An investigation by Snoop.ro brought to light that Cocoș did not pass the Baccalaureate exam in 2011, receiving a grade of 2.70 on the mathematics portion. He later stated he passed in a subsequent session,attributing his initial failure to “a personal problem” but declining to disclose his final grade. The year following his initial attempt at the Baccalaureate, Cocoș enrolled at Artifex Private University, graduating in 2016. He later pursued a master’s degree at Politehnica Bucharest. From Council Member to Business Interests
Prior to assuming the role of acting mayor, Cocoș served as a local councilor in Sector 3 and held a position on the board of directors of S3 SRL, an internet and technology company affiliated with the mayor’s office. Concurrently, he was involved in a group of companies specializing in “branded clothes,” functioning as manager of Blue Tune SRL and a shareholder in Global Team Dacu SRL.
