Russian biologist, Alexander Sozykin, revealed that people who drink instant and packaged coffee have a high probability of developing digestive diseases.

“There is a high probability of developing erosive gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, and acute and chronic pancreatitis,” said Sozykin, an associate professor in the Department of Physiology, Human Ecology and Biomedical Knowledge.
“It is also possible to stimulate the passage of gallstones if they are already present in the patient’s anamnesis,” Sozykin added.
Sozykin emphasized that important defects were found in instant coffee during biochemical analysis, in particular, there may be perfumes, as well as taste and aroma enhancers.
Sozykin pointed out that “three-in-one coffee” consists mainly of sugar, various herbal additives, flavorings and dyes that give this drink its beautiful brown color.
At the same time, Sozykin explained that high-quality instant coffee can benefit the body, as this drink is prepared using high- and low-temperature methods, and the coffee beans go through a roasting or drying stage.
This process releases essential oils, powerful antioxidants that can reduce oxidative stress in the body and fight free radicals that form during improper metabolism, Sozykin noted.
