In that sense, the Tamiltai greeting controversy has erupted again now. This time the panchayat has started in Puducherry. The opening ceremony of the International Public Health School was held at the Zimmer Hospital and Medical College there. Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Manzuk Mandavia was the special guest at the event and inaugurated the Zimmer International School of Public Health.
The function was attended by many prominent political personalities including Puducherry Deputy Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan and Puducherry Chief Minister Rangasamy. Meanwhile, it is said that the song was played in Sanskrit instead of Tamil greetings when the festival started.
It is said that the shocked Deputy Governor Tamizhai Soundararajan and Chief Minister Rangasamy did not get a proper answer when asked why Tamiltai was not sung. It is said that Chief Minister Rangasamy left the venue halfway through due to the commotion in the stadium.

It is said that a Tamil greeting song was played shortly afterwards during the ceremony. At a function attended by the Union Minister, the Governor and the Chief Minister, the Tamil greetings were ignored and the Sanskrit song was played, which has caused a new controversy in the political arena.
