In a moment of convergence and shared vision, Gabonese Youth, embodied among others by the Youth Collective for the Fatherland (CJP), stands up to salute a transcendent decision: the exhaustive audit of Delta Synergie by the Transition Committee for the Restoration of Institutions (CTRI). A decision published yesterday Tuesday March 20, 2024 in CTRI press release 055 and like a torch. This bold move signals a new chapter in the quest for transparent governance and the country’s rise to bliss.
This large-scale audit, encompassing the legal, operational, technical, economic, accounting, tax and strategic areas, represents much more than a simple compliance check. It is a symbol of Gabon’s desire to transcend the boundaries of the status quo to reach new heights of prosperity and equity.
While Delta Synergie, a constellation of prominent companies in vital sectors such as banking and insurance, manufacturing, mining, quarrying and petroleum, agribusiness, services, aviation sector, as well as companies liquidated or sold, etc., will be scrutinized under the microscope of transparency in the coming days, Gabonese youth sees a glimmer of hope in this effort.
For Gabonese youth, this audit is not just an investigation, but an unprecedented opportunity to catalyze job creation for young people in a country where the unemployment rate is around 42% and would be 10 times higher than in Cameroon and four times higher than the average for middle-income countries, according to the World Bank, ILO report, to improve the living conditions of populations in general and to redistribute wealth equitably. It is a catalyst for the resurgence of the state, reasserting its sovereignty and power in building a prosperous future for all.
In this momentum of our rise towards happiness, Gabonese Youth stands ready to play an active role, guided by the conviction that this historic moment marks not just the start of an audit, but the beginning of an era of opportunity and transformation for Gabon and its citizens.
