Mexico City ∙ Hot air balloon caught fire while flying in Mexico, 2 dead. The accident happened near the famous Teotihuacan archaeological site in Mexico City. Officials informed that the passengers who were flying in the balloon jumped down after catching fire.
A 50-year-old middle-aged man and a 39-year-old woman died. Their names have not been released. The child who was with them was burnt. The child’s right femur is fractured. Footage of the air balloon catching fire is circulating on social media. It is unclear if anyone else was on the balloon.
