The Eran Zahavi case shakes up Israeli football. After the player was not invited to the squad due to his refusal to sleep in a room with another player, the football association is now initiating the provision of a room by himself to every player who has made over 60 appearances in the national uniform. This is a move initiated by sports director Yossi Benion, but the move needs to be approved by the association at the same time. It will take effect in the next qualifying campaign, the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
